Dear friends,

Some of you are in the process of preparing to head to New Orleans in 2024 for the ELCA’s Youth Gathering and I wanted to touch base. If you wish to be part of this communication circle, please add courtney@lutheranmountaineer.org to your address book so that none of my emails go to spam AND respond to this email with your interest and/or questions by February 7th. If I don’t hear back from you that is absolutely okay, and I will take you off of the 2024 Youth Gathering email list.

I am your “Synod Champion” for the Youth Gathering which is an overly-fancy way of saying: I’m the person in the WV-WMD Synod who can answer your questions about the 2024 Youth + Young Adult Gatherings or help you find the answer.

At last update, we have two congregations registered: St. Paul @ Huntington and Trinity @ Keyser. If your congregation plans to send a group and you have not yet registered please text me at 717-881-4621 as soon as possible, as I may be able to get you the priority registration rate ($375) if completed before February 14th, and it will impact our Synod Day plans.

Once I hear back from congregations interested in attending the Gathering and/or meeting over Zoom for questions I will set up a time for us to gather.

• Late Registration (Feb. 15–April 15, 2024): $475

• July 16-20, 2024: ELCA Youth Gathering & Young Adult Gathering
